Music director, first viola and violin.

Ruben is an internationally acclaimed musician. He has excelled as both classical and popular performer.

He has been part of the most relevant Symphony Orchestras in Argentina, such us the National Symphony Orchestra.

He holds currently the position of Viola Soloist at the Orquesta Estable del TEATRO COLON, one of the absolute most prestigious Opera Houses in the world.

With the Colon Symphony Orchestra he played internationally. It out stands his performances of the opera Carmen at the MUSCAT ROYAL OPERA in Oman, and Swam Lake Ballet with the Saint Petersburg KIROV BALLET.

He played with international Stars such as Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Alfredo Kraus, Jose Cura, Anna Netrebko, Martha Argerich, Daniel Barenboim, among many others.

He has an outstanding career as a Tango musician, playing in the prestigious orchestras of Maestros Daniel Binelli, Carlos Garcia and Mauricio Marcelli.

He joined Orquesta Tipica de Rodolfo Mederos and the Orquesta Julio Pane.

He was part of Tango Companies such as Solo Tango, Tango Desire, Tango Porteño.

He toured Japan, Russia, USA, China, Spain, Mexico and Latin America, performing in the most prestigious venues such as the Kremlin Palace Theatre, Caneçao, Teatro Real de Madrid, among many others.

He was part of the internationally acclaimed FOREVER TANGO show.

He played at the WALTER KERR THEATRE on Broadway, New York, 2018 season.

In 2005 he was selected to be a part of the SELECCION NACIONAL DE TANGO, integrated by the top tango musicians.

He played and recorded with tango legends like Roberto Goyeneche, Amelita Baltar, Horacio Ferrer, Estela Raval. He also played with international artists Luis Miguel, Thalia, Mercedes Sosa, Angel Mahler.

He is the founder and director of the Orquesta ALTO TANGO.

Since its beginning in 2006, Ruben is TANGO-A-TIERRA music director.
